Notes
27 Jul - Jamie Ashdown wore an unnumbered shirt.
1 Aug - Match details have been pieced together from various sources, chiefly LUTV highlights, pictures, websites and the official teamsheet.  Special credit to Ozwhitelufc.net.au for reproducing the local newspaper report.  Nonetheless the timings of the home substitutions have had to be estimated and may be a couple of minutes out - any further information would be gratefully received.
7 Aug - Leeds did not have available any goalkeeper jerseys that did not either clash with Burton's predominantly yellow shirts or their keeper's orange kit.  Hence Paddy Kenny and Jamie Ashdown both wore white, unnumbered training tee-shirts.
22 Sep - The Leeds substitutions in the 65th/66th minutes took place in the same break in play, Lee Peltier requiring treatment before being helped from the field.
29 Sep - Most sources list Neil Kilkenny as having received a yellow card in injury-time.  From the video it would appear that the card was directed at El-Hadji Diouf for time-wasting over a corner.  Kilkenny was trying to retrieve the ball, wrongly assuming play would restart with a Bristol City free-kick, and reacted petutlantly to the referee waving him away but did not seem to be cautioned himself.
10 Nov - Rodolph Austin suffered a serious ankle injury in the early stages of the second-half and although he is noted as being withdrawn in the 52nd minute, this included a substantial delay while medics prepared him to be stretchered off.
5 Jan - Leeds manager Neil Warnock was absent ill so Mick Jones and Ronnie Jepson took charge of the team.  However Warnock claimed to have instructed the half-time substitutions based on the radio commentary.
1 Apr - Derby's Adam Legzdins suffered a hip injury in the warm-up and was replaced as sub keeper by Saul Deeney though many sources still listed Legzdins as being on the bench.
27 Apr - El Hadji Diouf's sending-off in the 76th minute occurred prior to the restart following his 74th minute penalty equaliser.  Diouf's celebration saw him run the length of the pitch and make a gesture towards the visiting fans which resulted in the game's third straight red card after consultation between the referee and an assistant.
